Manufactured by Christ Lammfelle in Germany; these sheepskin half pads have been skillfully hand crafted from Genuine Merino lambskin and hard wearing cotton twill.
Sheepskin half pads can be used with any style of saddle. Being just a 'half pad' they are designed to sit under the seat area of your saddle, thus do not need to be 'cut' to fit a GP or Dressage or Jumping saddle. You can also use a standard cotton numnah or saddle cloth with the half pad if required (this could be to keep the panels of your saddle clean, to keep the sheepskin half pad clean, to provide an extra layer between horse and saddle or just for aesthetics.

Sheepskin/Lambskin products have therapeutic and anti-bacterial properties.
The half pad provides a natural air cushion allowing the air to circulate through the sheepskin, providing shock absorption and eliminating pressure points.
Sheepskin has natural insulating properties so your half pad stays warm in winter and cool in summer. The structure of the wool fibre repels dirt and possesses natural antibacterial and self cleaning properties. Sheepskin can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture helping to keep your horse cooler and dryer.
Sheepskin is very hard wearing and your half pad will last for years if cared for; using a sheepskin detergent will clean the fibres and condition the hide, keeping it soft and supple. Brushing will keep the fibres springy and looking like new. It is one of the best natural products on the market for equine use.
All our Sheepskin Half Pads can be machine washed and tumble dried at low temperatures (max 30 degrees) Please always use our C7 sheepskin detergent which has been specially formulated for these products. C7 detergent will protect, nourish and prolong the life of the sheepskin, keeping it soft and supple and looking like new.
